“ Thank you to KT Does Events for ensuring our day went smoothly. I was so tired from planning the wedding, DIY-ing everything and the other million things that comes with getting married. The last thing I wanted was to think about the schedule while walking down the aisle, or to be the point of contact for vendors, or have people ask me where things are, etc. I’m glad I was able to entrust Katie to take the reigns during our wedding day so that I Could focus on being a bride, which doesn’t come easy for a type-A crazy lady like me.”

“We had the wonderful pleasure of working with Katie in planning our wedding. From our first meeting with Katie, she was so attentive and thoughtful when discussing our vision for the big day. We had several meetings throughout the year and felt that no stone was left unturned when it came to planning, budgeting, vendors, etc. When the wedding day finally came, Katie and her assistant were truly incredible. Everything that we had planned came together so perfectly. The vision came true even better than we had expected and Katie was so punctual and calm, we were seriously so impressed given how much prep had led up to the day.”

“We don't know what we would've done without Katie! We hired Katie as our day of coordinator for our wedding in Oregon. Katie is based in Chicago so she helped us plan everything virtually. She knew exactly what we wanted the moment we told her our ideas and vision and brought it all to life for us. Katie kept consistent communication with us and our vendors and made sure everyone was updated and on the same page at all times. She was always one step ahead and that really helped us to relax and enjoy our day. I decided to DIY the florals for the wedding and quickly learned that it was not an easy task, but to my luck, Katie had a background working in florals. She gave me a lot of great tips and guidance (and was so positive and kind as I struggled through the process). All in all, we cannot recommend Katie enough.”

“Katie was the most amazing support to Jimmy and I in our final few months of planning and the day of our wedding! After spending a year planning our wedding by ourselves, it was so reassuring to hand off all the details and final tasks to Katie the month before the wedding and know everything was in her super capable hands. Set up and transitions within our venue were so smooth, we had nothing to worry about on the day of! Our Cantonese speaking family members also greatly appreciated her bilingual skills.”

“Katie was the best wedding planner we could’ve hoped for! She was very responsive and answered all our questions. We were working within a budget and she was able to make our intimate wedding possible! Katie helped us from the very beginning with choosing our venue to being our day of coordinator. Our wedding went very smoothly and on time. In addition, she created all the floral arrangements for our wedding and tea ceremony! Everything was beautiful! She made our dreams come true and we are so happy to have worked with Katie!”

“Katie was our day-of coordinator for our wedding last May and really helped to make our wedding run smoothly! She was easy to work with, very experienced with event planning and coordinating, and was super communicative with both us and our vendors in the lead-up to our wedding day. Starting a few months out, Katie collaborated with us using some great templates she provided for planning which made organizing all of the moving pieces incredibly easy. On wedding day itself, we were able to focus on ourselves and our guests with Katie handling vendors, arrangements, and last minute changes all behind the scenes. It made our day less stressful, and we were really grateful to have Katie there to help us make the day special. Getting a coordinator is definitely the way to go, and we couldn't recommend Katie enough!”

“I hired Katie as a day-of coordinator pretty last minute, and she went above and beyond what I asked! I originally just thought I needed someone to set up some decorations for our reception, and gather them near the end of the night. Katie did this and so much more! She helped me square away my timeline, kept track of all my vendors, took a ton of stuff for me to and from the reception. On our wedding day, Katie arrived at my hotel room ahead of schedule and gave me updates on the day. She set everything up for me. During the reception, she made sure we stuck to our schedule, and helped me tremendously when I needed to go to the bathroom (lol) & change into my second outfit. At the end of the night she organized everything. It was SO nice to have all of that taken care of so we could continue to celebrate with our guests. Looking back, I am so glad we had Katie there for our peace of mind, and am also so grateful for her assistance in the weeks leading up to our wedding. She is very detail oriented, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind.”

“Katie, our day-of coordinator, was so sweet and organized. She handled all comms in those last stressful planning weeks with all our vendors and made sure every second of the wedding went off without a hitch. She truly thought of everything and came up with little details to make our wedding even more personal to us. For example, my husbands boutonniere got pretty squashed during hugging / pictures - and, without missing a beat, Katie had handed us a fresh one she had just made herself from loose flowers. Truly a wedding expert who made our day go so smoothly <3”
