Bringing people together and creating experiences has always been my love language. My passions are in everything natural and life giving. From the way the snow falls to rainbows created by diamonds, the little details life gives brings me so much joy and appreciation. Planning events continues to fill my life because it serves as a reminder that an outlet to express your emotion in an authentic and personal way is important. Just like nature running on the cycles of changing seasons and tides, events mimic this rhythm by pulling us out of our routine to help us pause, reflect, and transition into new phases of our lives.

Family and community means a lot to me. I love spending time together as a family of three, Alan, Katie and baby boy, Sparrow. We like to call ourselves a huge empath family who loves people watching, deep conversations, faith and spreading love. At night when Sparrow is asleep, I enjoy decompressing with gaming sessions with my friends or a good tv series. Floral design is also a hobby I picked up that fuels my creativity and has found very necessary for weddings!

My background in cancer research and recruiting has shaped my understanding of people's need for connection and changed my perspective on why celebrations are essential to life's joy. I've seen how much marking life's milestones matters at pivotal moments, and that understanding shapes how I approach every couple's emotional experience, not just their logistics.

This is the heart behind everything I do! I am here to help you hold onto your why, so you can stay present in the feeling, and I'll take care of the rest.

Our Name

KT Does Events comes from a nickname I’ve carried for many years. In elementary school, I was assigned an insect called a katydid to do a bug report on because of my name. That inspired the nickname “KTdidthat, KTdidwhat?, or Kayteedid”, which became a huge part of my identity in social usernames and gamertags.

When it came time to name my event company, I wanted something that felt personal, memorable and authentically me. KT Does Events felt like the perfect fit! It is a simple way of saying what I love to do. Just like a katydid who has the ability to stand out and blend perfectly in nature, as a planner, I do the same in events.
